For this workshop we were asked to create a series of tools to work with, as a pose to using more traditional methods of drawing, in the hope that we would achieve some more interesting marks.
I was very pleased with the outcome of these marks as the shapes are interesting and they also resemble flowers which keeps with my theme. I created the left mark with hexagon headed pin, and the marks on the right with srcunched up material.
I was also happy with how these two turned out, however they are not as closley linked with my theme.
I then used the tools to create textures for the background of some larger drawings. I am very pleased with the outcome of these drawings.
