Education: Morley High School, 12 GCSES’s ranging from B to C and 3 A Levels in Art, History and Maths.

                   Leeds College of Art, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design

Previous employment:- I currently work part time at Clarks shoes where I have worked since September 2008.I have trained to become a fully qualified children’s shoe fitter. This has helped with my confidence massively, I can now handle a variety of customers even small children and help them select the product that they need. It has also helped my time management and I now have more initiative with what to do in situations that occur in the working environment. I am also a trusted member of staff and have been trained to do refunds and put away stock. I enjoy my job and feel I am a hard and effective worker.

Career aspirations: I am currently studying Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University where I hope to obtain a degree in textiles in practice. After this I hope to work in the area of printed textiles possible designing prints on fabrics for interior or fashion.

Hobbies and Interests: I am very interested in design and art work, I often visit art galleries and read design magazines. Last year I went to Paris and looked around several art galleries whilst I was there, I feel that this trip broadened my creative knowledge immensely and I enjoyed my time there greatly.
